...a relevant response.
This was the worst idea ever for me. I can't commit to posting something every day and I don't feel that interesting.
It seems like everyone has a blog and a Subaru these days. Putting clever spins on my mundane days seems annoying. A blog is translated through
about 6 microsoft products before it hits the internet. Words are spell checked, grammar is analyzed, and the format begs for editing, fabrication and
excessive self analysis. It doesn't seem real or diary-like as I feel it should.
If you want to check out good journals you should take a look at Jim Carroll's Basketball Diaries or Downtown Diaries and Sylvia Plath's journals.
